Rejuvenation with Your Own Blood Plasma PRP

PRP stem cell rejuvenation therapy is a method that uses a minimal amount of your own blood for skin rejuvenation. The method is named after the part of the blood obtained by centrifugation – PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) or in translation – plasma rich in platelets.

Treatment

This procedure is completely natural, and revitalization is achieved through autologous cellular rejuvenation, i.e., regeneration using your own platelets, growth factors, and stem cell activity. This returns a youthful appearance and vitality to the skin, increases its density and firmness, promotes the synthesis of connective tissue, regeneration and tissue recovery, and improves the skin’s structure and color. Platelets are key cells in tissue renewal influenced by numerous growth factors found within them. They also stimulate the proliferation of fibroblasts, cells that synthesize structural elements of connective tissue such as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, and promote the synthesis of new blood vessels, essential for delivering oxygen and nutrients. The goal is to stimulate natural regeneration processes and harness the body’s own strengths.

We apply PRP therapy for:

  • Reducing fine lines
  • Improving the appearance of the eye area
  • Treating acne scars
  • Rejuvenating the skin on the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and other body parts
  • Removing sun damage and discoloration
  • Deep facial hydration

In our practice, we use PRP from the Swiss company Regenlab, which is safe, effective, and offers long-lasting results, providing the highest concentration of stem cells, growth factors, and platelets. In addition to classic PRP, we also use Cellular Matrix which leverages the synergistic effect of two ingredients: hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma. Hyaluronic acid is a component of our skin and is known for its water-binding properties, hydrating and volumizing the skin from within, promoting cell migration and maturation. Together with PRP, it achieves the effect of deep hydration, making the skin visibly softer, more elastic, and youthful.

Before treatment, anesthetic cream is applied to the skin to make the procedure as painless as possible. A small amount of blood is drawn from a vein in the arm, then the blood is centrifuged to separate the liquid part, plasma, from other blood cells. After preparing the platelets, PRP is injected with thin needles into the skin, leaving no visible puncture marks. The treatment lasts about 45 minutes from blood draw and preparation to the actual treatment. The treatment can be enhanced with a micropen, which, through tiny vertical punctures, further boosts the effect.

Candidates

Candidates are people who want to achieve:

  • Face regeneration and hydration
  • Reduction of fine lines and scars
  • Refreshing the skin around the eyes
  • Regeneration of the area around the mouth
  • Rejuvenation of the neck, décolleté, hands, and other body parts
  • Stimulating hair growth on the scalp.

PRP is recommended for those who want to retain a natural and youthful appearance, prevent wrinkles, or regenerate the face.

PRP therapy is not applied in cases of platelet dysfunction, critical thrombocytopenia, hemodynamic instability, autoimmune diseases, sepsis, acute and chronic diseases, pregnancy, chronic liver disease, anticoagulation therapy, and infections in the treated area.

Results

The first results are seen a few weeks after treatment, and over the following months, they become even better and more pronounced in terms of improved moisture, structure, and skin tone. This is because it takes some time to stimulate natural renewal processes that improve over time. It’s recommended to have 3 PRP treatments with a month’s gap between each session. The Cellular matrix is applied once a month for two consecutive months, and the third treatment is performed 3 to 4 months after the last session. The effects of the therapy can last between one to two years, which varies individually. The procedure can be repeated after 12 months if desired.

Recovery

Immediately after treatment, there may be some redness, bruising, swelling, and minimal pain in the treated area, which typically disappears within a few hours and completely within a few days. Most patients return to their usual activities right after the treatment. Since this treatment uses your own blood, no synthetic substances are introduced, eliminating the possibility of allergies or immune reactions. The treatment is entirely non-toxic, hypoallergenic, painless, and requires no recovery time.
