Fractional Radiofrequency
Fractional radiofrequency Ulverin R is a technology that combines the delivery of fractionated radiofrequency through minimally invasive micro-needles in negative vacuum pressure, thereby stimulating skin renewal and the creation of new connective tissue.
Treatment
The precisely controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy is delivered directly to the targeted depth of the dermis. The penetration depth of the needles, ranging from 0.1 – 3 mm, is adjusted depending on the treatment objective or therapeutic effect. Vacuum RF technology with micro-needles in controlled fractions ensures safe and precise operation without unwanted side effects, delivering energy uniformly into the skin. The single-use vacuum attachment contains 25 gold-plated micro-needles.
Before the treatment, anesthetic cream is applied to the skin to make the procedure more comfortable. After the vacuum suction, micro-needles are introduced into the skin to the targeted depth where high-frequency radiofrequency energy is released, heating the tissue between 45-60°C. The radiofrequency energy at a precisely determined location and depth stimulates and reorganizes collagen and elastin fibers, renewing the skin. Indications for the treatment are:
- skin regeneration
- lifting
- wrinkles
- enlarged pores
- scars
- improved skin tone
- stretch marks
- cellulite
Candidates
Ideal candidates for fractional radiofrequency treatment are individuals with mild to moderate signs of skin aging or other mentioned indications like stretch marks, scars, enlarged pores, cellulite. This treatment can be applied to various body parts, including the face, neck, décolleté, and body. Candidates should not be those with visible infections at the treatment site, wounds, or autoimmune connective tissue diseases.
Results
The results of fractional radiofrequency are usually not immediately visible, as it takes time to stimulate collagen production and skin regeneration, typically a month or two. After several weeks or months, the skin becomes tighter, toned, and its texture improved. Typically, 3 treatments with a month’s interval between are required.
Recovery
Recovery after fractional radiofrequency treatment is typically fast and minimally invasive. Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity may occur in the treated areas, but these changes usually resolve quickly, on average within a few hours to a couple of days. Pigmentation can rarely occur. During the recovery period, it is necessary to apply regenerative creams, protect against sun exposure, and use creams with protective factors.
